Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States, has a vibrant and rich history with culture, it is known for its most iconic landmarks, like political influence, and world-class museums, Washington, D.C. offers a plethora of many experiences.

1. National Mall:
The heart of Washington, D.C., the National Mall is streched from the United States to the Lincoln Memorial, it has most iconic monuments and some memorials, such as the Washington Munument, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and the Reflecting Pool.
2. Smithsonian Institution:
It is a collection of 19 different museums and galleries, it offers a wide knowledge and also exhibits on various subjects, that includesart, history, science and culture, some must-visit museums are the National Air and Space Museum.
3. The White House:
It is the official residence of the U.S. President, the White House is an iconic symbol of American democracy. While public tours of the interior are limited, visitors can only explore the surrounding grounds and take the memorable photos.
4. Arlington National Cemetery:
It is located just accross the Potomac River, Arlington National Cemetery is a hollowed place honoring American service members. Visitors can see the Changing of the Guard ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and pay respects at the gravesites of notable figures.
5. Georgetown:
It is a historic neighborhood has charming streets, which are lined with shops, it's a great place to explore and shop.
How to visit:
Washington, D.C. is very easy to reach by air, train or car. The city has three major airports. DCA, IAD and BWI, Union Station serves as a major transportation hub for trains and buses.
Once you are in the city, many transportation system are easily available.
